For limited time, two-year plan available for $100 per month
WOODSTOCK, N.B. — Rural broadband provider Xplornet Communications today announced the launch of its Xplore 50/10 Unlimited fixed wireless service, available across the company’s national LTE footprint from Alberta to Newfoundland.
Offering download speeds up to 50 Mbps and upload speeds up to 10 Mbps, with full-speed unlimited data, Xplore 50/10 Unlimited is now available to new and current customers of Xplornet in the eligible serving area (Nova Scotia customers will get access within 30 days) at a standard price of $110 per month. For a limited time, new customers can get a two-year plan for $100 per month, with that price guaranteed for the two years, says Xplornet’s press release.
“Enabled by private corporate investment, Xplornet’s LTE fixed wireless network will now offer the Xplore 50/10 Unlimited service plan to over half a million homes,” reads the press release. “Over the coming months, Xplornet will continue to roll out this new service to more rural Canadians by upgrading the rest of its LTE network.”
Xplornet says today’s announcement builds on the company’s plan to invest $500 million by 2025 to deploy scalable hybrid fibre wireless technology in its facilities-based network to deliver fast, reliable and affordable broadband services to rural Canadians.
