TORONTO — Bell Media’s TSN and RDS announced today a multi-year media rights agreement with W Series, making the two sports networks the Canadian home of the all-female professional motor racing series.
Presented in partnership with Formula 1, the W Series schedule for 2021 features eight events, starting with the Styrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria on Saturday, June 26. TSN5 and RDS will air the race live at 10:30 a.m. ET, following live coverage of the Formula 1 qualifying session the same morning.
The rest of the races in the 2021 W Series calendar are as follows:
- July 3 – Spielberg, Austria
- July 17 – Silverstone, UK
- July 31 – Budapest, Hungary
- August 28 – Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium
- September 4 – Zandvoort, Netherlands
- October 23 – Austin, U.S.
- October 30 – Mexico City, Mexico
