MONTREAL — One week before the grand finale of this year’s Star Académie next Sunday, TVA, Quebecor Content and Productions Déferlantes confirmed today the variety show will be back for a brand-new season in winter 2022.
The announcement of a new season was shared with fans last night.
Star Académie serves as a showcase for young Quebec talent and gives viewers the opportunity to discover exceptional singer/songwriters representing the rich musical and cultural diversity found in the province, says Quebecor’s press release.
Quebecor promotes the program across all of its platforms: the variety show episodes and daily editions air on TVA and TVA+; Videotron Mobile and Helix TV subscribers have had access to exclusive content live from the Academy, in addition to episodes of Le tout petit talk-show de Star Académie; music fans have been able to enjoy unique playlists and relive participants’ variety performances on QUB musique; podcast listeners were treated to special interviews with music-industry luminaries on QUB radio; and Star Académie news was covered in Quebecor’s Le Journal de Montréal, Le Journal de Québec and various TVA Publications magazines.
