TORONTO — Canadian podcast advertising company The Podcast Exchange (TPX) announced today Lina Kim has been appointed to the new role of president, as TPX co-founder and CEO Jean-Marie Heimrath (above) announced his retirement.
Formerly managing director at Havas Media Group, Kim is “an experienced strategist with a deep understanding of the industry and a proven track record in building partnerships and developing new revenue streams,” reads the press release announcing her appointment.
Her broad experience includes sitting on the board of directors for The Advertising Club of Toronto, says the release.
“Lina is the perfect candidate to lead TPX, having served in senior leadership capacities in both the advertising and digital space,” said Heimrath.
After retiring from the company, Heimrath (who is probably best remembered in the audio industry for his 20-plus years at Standard Broadcasting) will remain on the TPX board “providing counsel and guidance as the company continues to build its core business while pursuing new avenues of strategic value,” says the release.
