EDMONTON and MONTREAL — Super Channel and Able Esports announced today they are collaborating on exclusive live esports events that will bring original content to GINX Esports TV Canada and Able Esports’ Twitch channel.

Initially, the content will focus on a series of Fortnite tournaments, offering North American players the chance to compete for their share of a global prize pool. The tournament will culminate in the Able Cup finals event, which will be broadcast live on GINX Esports TV Canada on May 15.

“This new partnership with Able Esports is yet another step in our goal to provide high-quality comprehensive coverage of gaming and its competitive side to players and viewers,” said Dan Rudolph, director of programming and strategy at GINX Esports TV Canada.

Based in Montreal and doing business mostly in Quebec, Able Esports is a Canadian esports organization which houses several competitive teams and content creators, and organizes recurring virtual esports tournaments in various titles for the North American player base.

Super Channel’s GINX is Canada’s only 24-hour esports channel featuring live events, news and gaming lifestyle programming from around the world. The channel is available from most Canadian cable TV providers as well as Amazon Prime Video Channels and the Apple TV app.
