MONTREAL — Broadcaster and music service provider Stingray announced today the launch of several free ad-supported TV (FAST) channels and SVOD services with 13 major OTT providers around the world.
The channels and services expanding their worldwide distribution include Qello Concerts by Stingray, Stingray Karaoke, Stingray Classica and Stingray Naturescape.
The list of OTT partners includes Alteox (Luxembourg), Amazon Prime Video Channels (Italy, Spain and Netherlands), ChannelBox (U.K.), Maskatel (Canada), Pluto TV (Latin America and U.S.), Pzaz (global), Rakuten TV (Europe), Redbox (U.S.), Rostelecom (Russia), Ruutu (Finland), Samsung TV Plus (Brazil, Mexico, Netherlands and Sweden), Totalplay (Mexico) and Zeasn (Austria and Germany).
Alteox, Pzaz, Ruutu and Zeasn are new partners for Stingray, and these new distribution agreements with all 13 providers grow Stingray’s potential audience by millions of viewers, says the company’s press release.
On the FAST channel side, Stingray announced the following launches:
- Qello Concerts by Stingray: carried by ChannelBox, Pluto TV Latin America, Rakuten TV and Zeasn
- Stingray Karaoke: carried by Pluto TV Latin America, Rakuten TV, Samsung TV Plus Netherlands, Samsung TV Plus Sweden and Zeasn
- Stingray Classica: carried by Pluto TV U.S. and Zeasn
- Stingray Naturescape: carried by ChannelBox, Pluto TV Latin America, Rakuten TV, Redbox, Samsung TV Plus Brazil, Samsung TV Plus Mexico and Zeasn
Stingray announced the following launches of new SVOD services:
- Qello Concerts by Stingray: carried by Alteox, Amazon Prime Video Channels Netherlands, Maskatel, Pzaz, Rostelecom and Ruutu
- Stingray Classica: carried by Totalplay
