MONTREAL – Stingray announced today it is expanding the Stingray Advertising team by appointing Cory Atkins as sales director.
“Stingray Advertising operates Canada’s largest retail audio advertising network, delivering digital audio ads to close to 3,000 superstore, pharmacy, grocery and discount store locations,” a press release explains. “The network connects brands to consumers at point-of-sale, leveraging the power of proximity to influence high-intent audiences and deliver proven performance for advertisers. In his position, Atkins will play an integral role in growing advertising revenues across the retail audio advertising network in Canada.”
Atkins is an award-winning broadcast and advertising media professional with over 20 years of experience designing and negotiating media partnerships, managing the day-to-day needs of a business, implementing effective team management as well as growing revenue, the release says.
“He spent the last nine years as the Senior Director, Media Sales at Cineplex Media, where he spearheaded multiple sales strategies, customized media opportunities, content partnerships, and business developments for a large portfolio of businesses.”
