EXTON, PA — The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) today announced a call for nominations for eight industry awards and recognitions which will be presented at SCTE Cable-Tec Expo, taking place as a hybrid event in Atlanta from October 11 to 14, 2021.
“The SCTE awards shine a spotlight on the excellence happening throughout the cable telecommunications industry. Each year, we recognize SCTE members who are making the most significant contributions to the Society, the industry as a whole, or are advancing the careers of others by prioritizing innovative learning and development programs,” said Robin Fenton, vice-president of membership and learning operations at SCTE, in a press release.
The eight annual awards and recognitions are:
- Excellence in Learning & Development Award
- Excellence in Standards Award
- International Engineering Professional Award
- Technology Innovator’s Award
- Member of the Year Award
- Hall of Fame: Extraordinary Contributions to the Industry
- Senior Member
- Wilt J. Hildenbrand Jr. Rising Leader Award
