TORONTO – With the puck ready to drop on the 2015-16 NHL season, Rogers NHL GameCentre Live will offer more than 1,000 regular season games streamed online, plus every game of the playoffs and Stanley Cup final.

The mobile app returns with an updated interface that includes Google Chromecast support within the iOS and Android smartphone and tablet apps, so fans can stream live games from their mobile devices to their television sets.  It also promises improved video player and stream quality.

A full season subscription is priced at $199.99, which includes all out-of-market games as well as national games for the regular season and playoffs.  Rogers also offers half-season passes for $129.99, a French-language pass for $59.99 that includes out-of-market games for 60 regional Montreal Canadiens and 60 regional Ottawa Senators regular season games, and a playoffs pass that will include all out-of-market and national games for the last month of the regular season and every playoffs game for $74.99.  New this year is monthly pass, a recurring $29.99 monthly subscription.

Rogers customers with a Share Everything plan or on two-year term Rogers Ignite bundles will receive a full season pass free of charge.  They will also continue to receive exclusive access to GamePlus, which offers viewers new camera angles, multi-angle replays, and bonus video content.  Rogers cable customers with subscriptions to all sports channels (Sportsnet, TSN, RDS and TVA Sports) can now also access all of the regular season and post-season games within Rogers NHL GameCentre Live.

“Last year, Rogers NHL GameCentre LIVE delivered more games and more content to Canadians on their device of choice, and the fan response was outstanding,” said Rogers VP Scott MacMillan, in the news release.  “Whether you’re a Canucks fan living in Toronto, or a Habs fan living in Calgary, Rogers NHL GameCentre LIVE will continue to keep Canadian hockey fans covered with all of the games and innovative features they’ve come to know and love, where, when and how they want. And to top it off, we also have some great new enhancements and packages in store for 2015-16.”
