TORONTO – With the back-to-school set firmly in mind, Mobilicity has rolled out a new $25 unlimited talk, text and data plan, and has marked down some of its popular Android smart phones.

The wireless carrier said that its new ‘Student Plan’ offers unlimited local calling, local text and picture messaging, data, caller ID and Mobilicity-to-Mobilicity calling for $25 a month. It’s ‘Ultimate Unlimited Back-to-School Plan’ includes the $25 Student Plan features plus unlimited North American long distance, Canada/U.S. text and picture messaging, global text messaging, voicemail, call waiting, call forwarding and 3-way calling for $40 a month.

Mobilicity is also offering up to $200 off select handsets, including the Samsung Nexus S and HTC Panache. It has also priced the Motorola Spice device at $99.

The offers are available for a limited time at Mobilicity stores in Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa, Edmonton and Calgary; at authorized dealers across Canada; and on its website.
