OTTAWA – The federal government said today it will grant $352,000 in federal funding to bring high-speed Internet to rural residents in the Ontario communities of Millgrove, Pleasant View Survey, Dundas, Copetown and Ancaster.
Bell Canada will do the build and invest $626,000 of its own money which will connect 362 underserved households in those areas.
The project is part of the rapid response stream of the $1.75 billion Universal Broadband Fund, which means it must be completed before the end of 2021.
