OTTAWA — Gusto Worldwide Media announced today its streaming food channel Gusto TV is launching in Canada on LG Channels, a free, premium content streaming service available on LG Smart TVs.

“Gusto TV’s channel will become available in Canada on LG Smart TV models running webOS 3.0 and above, in addition to the 19+ countries where LG viewers are currently tuned in,” reads a press release.

In mid-July, Gusto TV announced its global launch on LG Channels in 19 countries, saying at the time it would launch in Canada on LG Channels in the next few months.

“When it comes to home entertainment, LG Channel viewers expect the best,” said Chris Knight, president and CEO of Gusto Worldwide Media, in the release. “We’re finally bringing the world’s best food channel back home to our LG Channels audiences, and we couldn’t be happier about it.”

Also in July, Gusto TV marked its return to Canada with its launch on Samsung TV Plus.

Gusto TV is an international food channel offering hundreds of hours of culturally diverse, proprietary content, which can be viewed in English, Spanish and Simplified Chinese across more than 160 countries on more than 40 different platforms, the press release says.
