TORONTO – Rogers Communications announced today Glenn Brandt (above) is the company’s new permanent chief financial officer, effective today.
Paulina Molnar has been the company’s interim CFO since Tony Staffieri left company abruptly last September. (Staffieri has since returned to the company and is now its president and CEO after a months-long power struggle you can read about here, here, and here.)
“I want to thank Paulina for her terrific work as Interim CFO and look forward to her continued leadership across our organization as SVP Controller and Risk Management,” Staffieri said, in a press release announcing Brandt’s new role.
Brandt has 35 years of experience in financial management. This includes 30 years at Rogers across treasury, investor relations and corporate development. His most recent role at the company was as senior vice-president of corporate finance.
“Glenn is a highly regarded leader with deep industry experience as well as extensive experience in corporate finance, including raising capital and working with credit agencies,” Staffieri said.
“His strong leadership as CFO will be integral as we work to successfully come together with Shaw, drive growth across our business, and maintain the strong balance sheet needed to invest for the future,” he said.
