TORONTO — WildBrain’s Family Channel announced today it will have the exclusive Canadian premiere next week of the HBO Max Originals series Baketopia, a new baking competition show from the creators of Craftopia.
Debuting Monday, June 14 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT, the 12-episode Baketopia series is hosted by baking guru, best-selling cookbook author and YouTube sensation Rosanna Pansino (above).
Each episode sees three different bakers tasked with creating trendsetting treats in a larger-than-life baking wonderland, using unique ingredients as they race against time and each other in the hopes of impressing Pansino and her “Cake Council” judges, master cake artist Timbo Sullivan and Irish celebrity chef Donal Skehan. The winner snags a $10,000 prize plus the coveted “Baketrophia” trophy.
