KITCHENER, Ont. — The Canadian Digital Media Network has officially changed its name to Canada’s Tech Network and refreshed its logo (above) and website design. The rebranding announcement was made at its bi-annual members’ meeting last week and in a press release on Monday.
“Over the last ten years, Canada’s Tech Network has evolved beyond supporting digital media technology and platform providers into an important piece of Canada’s innovation infrastructure,” said Avvey Peters, managing director of Canada’s Tech Network, in the press release. “Our updated name better captures the work that we do to support Canada’s small- and medium-sized tech firms as they grow and sell into global markets.”
Originally created as a federal Centre of Excellence in Commercialization and Research in 2009, Canada’s Tech Network now connects backbone organizations in regional tech ecosystems across the country.
