TORONTO — Broadcasting and media company Blue Ant Media announced today the launch of ad-supported streaming channel Homeful — which includes shows about home and real estate renovations — on the Roku channel in the U.S. and Canada.

The channel includes shows like Moving the McGillivrays, in which a couple embarks on building a home for themselves and a family in need; Candice Tells All, which follows Candice Olson as she transforms home interiors; What’s For Sale? follows families hunting for a vacation home; Decks, Docks and Gazebos focuses on renovating cabin properties; and Sarah’s Summer Rental follows Sarah Richardson as she revives and transforms a 1950s family cottage on a remote island into a rental property.

The availability of Homeful is part of a broader partnership that sees Roku carry other Blue Ant channels, including HauntTV and CrimeTime.

“We’re excited to build on our relationship with the Roku Channel and see a huge opportunity to serve audiences in the free-streaming space with renovation and decor-inspired programming,” Jamie Schouela, President, Global Channels and Media, Blue Ant Media, said in a Thursday press release. “This is a category we’re committed to investing in the long term by working with producers to commission original content for Homeful in the future.”

Homeful is available on the “Live TV” section of the Roku player.
