TORONTO — CTAM Canada announced Monday it is now accepting applications to its Cable Executive Management (CEM) program at Harvard Business School, which will be conducted virtually this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
CTAM’s CEM program is a management development experience for high-potential cable and media executives in an elite business school environment. The program’s virtual sessions will be held over the course of five consecutive weeks in May and June. To see FAQs about the program, please click here.
Each year CTAM Canada awards a scholarship to the program (a list of past recipients is available here). Open to all CTAM Canada members, applicants for the scholarship need to answer the following question in their submission:
- Programming Content in 2022: Imagine you’re head of programming — what strategies would you put in place to maintain your viewership and generate new viewers?
Perhaps a little tongue-in-cheek, CTAM is offering creative types the following ways to express themselves when answering the question:
- Creative submission: Essay — five pages maximum; PowerPoint — 25 pages max; video/audio — no more than seven minutes; podcast — no more than seven minutes; interpretive dance — 30 minutes max; shadow puppets — 20 minutes max
Each submission must include the following information:
- Contact info: name, address, phone, email
- Letter of reference from your organization. (This letter counts in the evaluation)
- Letter of reference from a professional relationship you’ve worked with. (This letter counts in the evaluation)
- 100 words about your participation with CTAM Canada. (This detail helps in your evaluation)
Submissions should be made to andrea.kelly@sasktel.com by April 21, 2021.
