Accessible Media Inc. (AMI) announced Tuesday its library of award-winning content is now available via the AMI+ app on all Roku devices in Canada.
With no subscription or sign-in required, AMI+ content available on Roku includes documentaries and series including Postcards From…, Canadian Screen Award winner By Hook or By Cook, Adaptable Animals, Dish with Mary, Healthy at Home with Bobbi Janzen, Level Playing Field, Mind Your Own Business and Our Community.
“We are excited to have AMI+ programming available to viewers on Roku,” David Errington, president and CEO of AMI, said in a press release. “This is the next step in spreading the news about AMI and our mission to entertain, inform and empower Canadians with disabilities through the offering of relevant original content.”
“At Roku, we want to offer our Canadian customers a wide variety of entertainment for all abilities,” said Mary Anne Taylor, Roku’s head of content distribution for Canada. “AMI is a welcome addition to the free and paid streaming services on Roku, with its mixture of original programs and popular TV shows and movies.”
Users can add the AMI+ app to their home screen directly from the Channel Store on their Roku streaming device.
