Bell and Virgin Plus last week announced new time-limited roaming deals for families travelling on March Break and spring getaways.
The discounted rates apply automatically on Bell’s Roam Better and Virgin Plus’s Roam Sweet Roam plans with home data until May 29. Under the offer, the first account member roaming on any given day will pay the standard rate ($13/day if roaming in the U.S.; $16/day for international destinations), and additional members on the same account roaming that same day will receive a 50-per-cent discount, paying $6.50/day in the U.S. and $8/day internationally.
Account members can be in different Roam Better/Roam Sweet Roam international destinations and still get the discount if it is the same day. However, the offer does not apply if a member is in the U.S. and the other member is in an international destination.
