LONDON, UK — Blue Ant Media announced today its wildlife and nature channel Love Nature is launching on Romania’s leading pay-TV platform DIGI.
The deal signifies Love Nature’s continued expansion in the region, where it has launched recently on Orange Romania, Focus Sat and the iNES Group, a press release says.
Now DIGI’s audiences will have “access to the channel’s wildlife and nature series and documentaries in stunning 4K and fully localised with Romanian subtitles,” the release says.
“The Romanian market has a fast growing appetite for dynamic 4K content that is remarkable both editorially and visually,” said Chiara Mckee, vice-president, EMEA, Love Nature, in the release. “Launching on Romania’s incumbent PayTV platform DIGI (RCS & RDS) allows us to share Love Nature’s line-up of fascinating nature and wildlife stories with a much wider Romanian audience and is a significant event in Love Nature’s continued European expansion.”
Love Nature programming available on DIGI will include Planet Shark (above, 3 x 60’), Becoming Orangutan (3 x 60’), New Kids in the Wild (5 x 60’) and Battle of the Alphas (12 x 30’).
In December, Love Nature will premiere the recently announced series Chasing the Rains (4 x 60’) and Wildlife ER (6 x 60’), according to the release.
