TORONTO — Organizers of the 2022 Canadian Telecom Summit (CTS) announced today Jan Karlsson (above), senior vice-president of global network platform at Ericsson will deliver a keynote speech titled “How the API economy is powering digital transformation” at the upcoming conference on Nov. 21 at 9:30 a.m.
“In the future, network capabilities will be consumed through open network APIs (application programming interfaces),” a description of the talk on CTS’s website says. “Learn how Ericsson and CSP partners will be able to expose network APIs to the global developer community to more easily create new and innovative consumer and enterprise applications, improve user experience, and reduce costs. The differentiation potential for cellular network connectivity, beyond coverage and capacity for best effort access, represent untapped potential.”
CTS is being held Nov. 21-23 at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ont., west of Toronto.
