The two remaining SWIFT-funded projects in Waterloo Region are being done by North Frontenac Telephone Corporation (NFTC) and are scheduled to be completed by the end of the year, according to SWIFT’s approved projects webpage.

The first, which will bring high-speed Internet access to 189 homes and businesses, is expected to be finished by early November. The second project, bringing broadband access to 680 premises, has a target completion date of Dec. 31, 2022.
