TORONTO — Bell Media today announced the new supernatural series SurrealEstate will premiere on CTV Sci-Fi Channel on Friday, July 16 at 10 p.m. ET.
Produced by Blue Ice Pictures and shot last summer in St. John’s, Newfoundland, the series (10 episodes x 60 minutes) depicts real estate agent Luke Roman (Tim Rozon, above, Wynonna Earp, Schitt’s Creek) and his team of associates who handle unconventional problems in haunted houses.
“What makes the team at The Roman Agency unique and in demand, is their uncanny ability to investigate and explain the truly inexplicable. The agency services include solving mysteries, closing portals, expelling demons, putting tortured souls to rest, and achieving the ultimate end: a sale,” reads Bell Media’s press release.
Also starring in the series are Sarah Levy (Schitt’s Creek), Adam Korson (Teachers), Savannah Basley (Wynonna Earp), Maurice Dean Wint (Diggstown) and Tennille Read (Workin’ Moms). Wynonna Earp star Melanie Scrofano directs two episodes of the series and guest stars in one.
“Luring skeptics and true believers alike with its spook-of-the-week mysteries, SurrealEstate captivates audiences with tales from ‘the other side’ of the housing market,” said Justin Stockman, vice-president of content development and programming for Bell Media, in the press release. “With unique storylines and a beloved genre actor at the helm, this Friday night fright series is sure to deliver an engaging experience to CTV Sci-Fi viewers.”
