TORONTO — Bell Media’s Discovery Networks — Discovery, Animal Planet, Discovery Velocity, Discovery Science and Investigation Discovery — have been added to CTV.ca and the CTV app, making more than 5,000 hours of Canadian Discovery Original series and factual films now available to stream, the broadcaster announced today.

Beginning today, full seasons of Discovery’s exclusive Canadian original series, such as Highway Thru Hell, Heavy Rescue: 401 and Mighty Trains, are available to stream on CTV.ca and the CTV app.

Also, starting April 26 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, season seven of Discovery original series Jade Fever will premiere on Discovery, with each new episode available on-demand on CTV.ca and the CTV app immediately after broadcast. Viewers can also catch-up on seasons one to six of the series across all CTV digital platforms.

Other Discovery titles set to roll out on CTV.ca and the CTV app (concurrent with their broadcast premieres) include season 17 of Deadliest Catch, which debuts with a two-hour recap special on April 20 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, followed by its two-hour premiere episode on April 27 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The series then moves to its regular timeslot, Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, beginning May 4.

Discovery library content available to stream today includes Canada’s Worst Driver, How It’s Made, Shallow Water Invasion and Deadliest Sharks.

In addition, in celebration of Earth Day on April 22, viewers can access a curated collection featuring Canadian series, blockbuster movies, eco-conscious specials and feature documentaries, including Chasing Monsters, Equator: A New World View and Wild Bear Rescue, on CTV.ca and the CTV app.
