REGINA — SaskTel announced yesterday it is waiving data overage charges on many of its plans from April 12 to June 30, 2021, to further help customers who are still working remotely or learning online as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

No data overage fees will be charged for domestic data for business or consumer customers on SaskTel’s postpaid wireless plans, noStrings prepaid wireless plans or Sasktel fusion Internet plans, the Crown corporation announced in a press release.

“SaskTel knows our previous offers were appreciated by our customers and we are once again pleased to assist them with their work from home and online learning requirements,” said SaskTel president and CEO Doug Burnett, in the release. “This has certainly been a challenging year for everyone and we hope that by the end of this offer things will be returning to normal for most folks.”

SaskTel’s wired Internet plans are already unlimited, with no throttling.

In addition, SaskTel continues to provide access to new channels and free content to its residential maxTV and maxTV Stream customers. The full list of new channels and free previews is available here.
