VANCOUVER — Media tech company BBTV Holdings, which provides distribution and monetization solutions to help content owners become more successful, today unveiled viewership numbers for 2020 which indicate strong growth in the company’s music content.
Based on Google Analytics data for the 12 months ended September 2020, BBTV achieved 162 billion views across its music content globally, according to the company’s press release.
For the month of September 2020, BBTV’s music content achieved 391 million unique viewers, which it says is on par with top music video properties such as VEVO which had 455 million unique viewers in the same period, according to data from Comscore.
In addition, as of September 2020, the company’s recently launched music audio distribution platform has generated more than 600 million streams, the company said. That’s according to BBTV streaming data garnered via digital service providers.

As a result, artists are looking for ways to stand out amidst the clutter and BBTV’s solutions across both video and audio provide them with the tools they need to enhance viewership, and revenue,” said Shahrzad Rafati, chairperson and CEO of BBTV, in the release.
