TORONTO — Fans of Family Feud Canada may be interested to know a board game based on Canada’s version of the game show is now available, in English and French, exclusively at Walmart Canada stores.

The release of the Canadian version of the board game was announced last week by CBC/Radio-Canada, Fremantle, Spin Master and Imagination Games. The Family Feud Canada game show is produced by Zone3 and based on the Fremantle format, in association with CBC.

Launched in December 2019 and hosted by comedian Gerry Dee, the first season of Family Feud Canada saw 62 Canadian families compete from communities across the country, reaching 2.6 million viewers in Canada each week with an average audience of 518,000 per episode four nights each week, according to Numeris data quoted in the news release.

“We are so proud of this show and the overwhelming response it received from audiences across Canada each week,” said Justin Huck, manager of merchandise licensing and affiliate programs at CBC and Radio-Canada Media Solutions, in the release. “The Family Feud Canada board game extends the show experience into homes, and offers families a fun way to stay entertained and connected during these times when we are all spending more time at home than ever before.”

Family Feud Canada will return with 104 new episodes this fall, airing Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. on CBC TV and CBC Gem.
