TORONTO – Canada’s newest high definition movie services were introduced Tuesday as Toronto-based Hollywood Suite unveiled its four new services which include branded services from Warner Bros. and MGM.
The four channels include Warner Films, which will show films from the studio’s deep library; The MGM Channel, which will showcase movies from the iconic Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer library; action and adventure channel Hollywood Storm, and romance and relationship channel Hollywood Festival.
Launching nationally in November, the new services will air over 450 different movie titles every month, all commercial-free, uncut and unedited. A selection of films will also be available on demand, on-line and on mobile.
Founded by former CHUM executives Jay Switzer and David Kines, Hollywood Suite describes itself as a “connected movie destination providing a pure, high quality, affordable movie experience, accessible anywhere at any time”.
