TORONTO – CTV has become Canada’s first conventional broadcaster to offer a simulstreamed television lineup for mobile, the broadcaster announced Monday.

CTV Mobile allows viewers to watch select CTV and CTV Two programming in real time on compatible mobile devices. With up to 150 hours each week of live simulstream programming, the content includes popular shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds, The Amazing Race, and Flashpoint; plus new series Pan AM, Whitney, and Once Upon A Time. Also available are news programs CTV National News, Question Period and W5, as well as late-night comedies The Daily Show, Conan, and The Tonight Show.

Corporate cousins Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile have signed on as the first wireless carriers to offer the CTV Mobile channels.

"Now viewers can watch amazing live CTV content no matter where they are," said Bart Yabsley, EVP of content sales and distribution for Bell Media, in the announcement. "With CTV Mobile, Bell Media is ensuring that viewers get Canada’s most-watched television programming on every screen, whenever and wherever they want to watch."
