TORONTO – Rogers Communications announced today that new programming from MGM, Corus Entertainment and E1 Entertainment is coming to the Rogers On Demand Online Beta.

Over the coming weeks through these partnerships, Rogers On Demand Online will feature a wide selection of programming ranging from lifestyle favourites to popular (if somewhat elderly) TV series and feature films which should attract even more visitors than the initial strong count.

New on Rogers On Demand Online from MGM will be 75 features including Rob Roy, UHF and RoboCop, and 10 popular TV series such as The Addams Family, American Gladiators and Fame.

Corus Entertainment’s content will include episodes of marquee lifestyle programming from W Network experts including Candice Olsen in Divine Design, Christine Cushing in Fearless in the Kitchen and Anna Walner and Kristina Matisic in Anna & Kristina’s Grocery Bag. These shows join other Corus Entertainment programming on Rogers On Demand Online including Teletoon, Treehouse and YTV.

E1 Entertainment brings feature film titles to Rogers On Demand Online including Trailer Park of Terror, REC, Ping Pong Playa and Steel Trap.

Rogers On Demand Online launched in November 2009 and has grown to include over 20 partners and offer a video library with more than 1,500 hours of content now available exclusively to Rogers subscribers.

Rogers On Demand Online can be found on Facebook and Twitter. Customers (because RODO is available only to Rogers customers) can register today at www.rogersondemand.com.
