$16 million for 27 more rural broadband projects

OTTAWA – On Friday, the federal government announced nearly $16 million in federal funding through the rapid response stream of the Universal Broadband Fund for 27 projects to bring high-speed Internet to 7,511 underserved households in 49 communities across rural Ontario.

Since it’s the rapid response stream, these projects are supposed to be complete before the end of this year.
